This beautiful example 6536-1 was originally owned by Richard Larsen, who was stationed in Japan during the Korean War and then remained through the early 1960's. He was a Sergeant in the US Army servicing Teletype/Cryptography machines.
Shortly after the war ended, he met and married his wife and started his family. This watch was purchased at the base PX store by his Army buddies as a gift to celebrate the birth of his first son in 1958. He wore it proudly until 1985 until he retired it as his his daily watch. He is shown in the last photo wearing it as he received his discharge papers before returning to home to the US.
We are offering this watch on behalf of his son.
